Additional Employee Contribution. In addition to the PEMHCA Minimum Contribution, the City shall provide an additional contribution to eligible employees to offset the cost of participation in City sponsored medical benefits available through an IRS Section 125 cafeteria plan (Additional Contribution). The Additional Contribution is based on the employee’s medical insurance plan participation level. The PEMHCA Minimum Contribution, when added to the Additional Contribution, will equal the City’s total monthly contribution toward an employee’s medical election (Total Contribution).
