Health In All Policies. Pursuant to Executive Order EO-2018-04, it is the policy of the City to apply the consideration of health, health impacts, and the social determinants of health to the City's decision–making, including the delivery of services and procurement of supplies and construction. Contractors are encouraged to propose services, supplies and construction that promote health to the greatest extent practicable in their responses to City solicitations. Contractors are further encouraged to provide workplaces that promote the health and well-being of their employees.

Health In All Policies. The OHE Policy Unit will provide regular updates on activities of the California Health in All Policies Task Force at the OHE Advisory Committee meetings, at which the DHCS will have a standing member. Such payment will be made by payroll deduction from pension checks, or by direct payment in the case of an early retiree.

  • Ethical Business Practices The Contractor shall work in partnership with the State to ensure a successful and valuable contract, and ethical practices are required of State employees, Contractors, and all parties representing the Contractor. All work performed under this Contract will be subject to review by the Inspector General of the State of Florida, and any findings suggesting unethical business practices may be cause for termination or cancellation.

  • Group Health Insurance The Employer shall provide a comprehensive health care insurance program for all permanent full-time and part-time employees. Health Plan characteristics and benefits shall be as provided in the Employer’s Agreement with the Ohio Civil Service Employees Association (hereinafter OCSEA). Regardless of the plan, employees will pay fifteen percent (15%) of the premium and the Employer will pay eighty-five percent (85%) of the premium; however for any alternative plans offered pursuant to the Agreement with OCSEA, the employees’ premium share will be determined by the Director of DAS, but will not exceed fifteen percent (15%) of the premium. The Employer’s premium share shall be paid on behalf of eligible employees as provided in the Employer’s Agreement with OCSEA. Employees who include a spouse as a dependent for healthcare coverage shall pay a surcharge as provided in the Employer’s Agreement with OCSEA. Eligibility provisions for employees enrolling in State provided health care plans shall remain the same as those in effect in the Employer’s Agreement with OCSEA. The Employer reserves the right to perform dependent eligibility audits upon recommendation of the Joint Health Care Committee. Health care costs paid on behalf of ineligible dependents will be subject to recovery. Deductibles, co-payments, and other plan design provisions for all benefit programs shall be the same as those prescribed in the Employer’s Agreement with OCSEA. Every year the Employer shall conduct an open enrollment period, at which time employees shall be able to enroll in a health plan, continue enrollment in their current plan, switch to another plan, subject to plan availability in their area, or waive coverage. The timing of the open enrollment period shall be established by the Director of the Department of Administrative Services (DAS), in consultation with the Joint Health Care Committee. Changes outside of open enrollment may only occur as prescribed in the Employer’s Agreement with OCSEA. Open Enrollment Fairs shall be held in accordance with Employer’s Agreement with OCSEA. There shall be established a Joint Health Care Committee composed of representatives of management, and of the various labor Unions representing State employees. The Committee shall meet regularly to monitor the operation of the State’s health care plans, and to make recommendations for the improvement of the plans and cost containment procedures. The Employer shall provide funding for dental, vision and the life benefits as described in Article 21 of the Employer’s Agreement with OCSEA and the Union’s Benefits Trust. Employee health insurance payments will be deducted from every paycheck. In the event an employee is receiving disability leave or Workers’ Compensation benefits, the Employer- policyholder shall continue, at no cost to the employee, the coverage of group health insurance for such employee for the period of such leave, but not beyond twelve (12) months. If the employee’s leave extends beyond twelve

  • Privacy Laws The Dealer Manager and Participating Dealer (each referred to individually in this Section XIX as a “party”) agree as follows: (a) Each party agrees to abide by and comply with (i) the privacy standards and requirements of the Xxxxx-Xxxxx-Xxxxxx Act of 1999 (“GLB Act”); (ii) the privacy standards and requirements of any other applicable Federal or state law; and (iii) its own internal privacy policies and procedures, each as may be amended from time to time; (b) Each party agrees to refrain from the use or disclosure of nonpublic personal information (as defined under the GLB Act) of all customers who have opted out of such disclosures except as necessary to service the customers or as otherwise necessary or required by applicable law; and (c) Each party shall be responsible for determining which customers have opted out of the disclosure of nonpublic personal information by periodically reviewing and, if necessary, retrieving a list of such customers (the “List”) as provided by each to identify customers that have exercised their opt-out rights. In the event either party uses or discloses nonpublic personal information of any customer for purposes other than servicing the customer, or as otherwise required by applicable law, that party will consult the List to determine whether the affected customer has exercised his or her opt-out rights. Each party understands that each is prohibited from using or disclosing any nonpublic personal information of any customer that is identified on the List as having opted out of such disclosures.

  • Business Practices 1. Parties recognise that certain business practices of service suppliers, other than those falling under Article 14 (Monopolies and Exclusive Service Suppliers), may restrain competition and thereby restrict trade in services. 2. Each Party shall, at the request of any other Party, enter into consultations with a view to eliminating practices referred to in Paragraph 1. The Party addressed shall accord full and sympathetic consideration to such a request and shall co-operate through the supply of publicly available non- confidential information available to the requesting Party. The requested Party may also provide other information available to the requesting Party, subject to its domestic law and to the conclusion of satisfactory agreement concerning the safeguarding of its confidentiality by the requesting Party.

  • Policies and Practices The employment relationship between the Parties shall be governed by this Agreement and the policies and practices established by the Company and the Board of Directors (hereinafter referred to as the “Board”). In the event that the terms of this Agreement differ from or are in conflict with the Company’s policies or practices or the Company’s Employee Handbook, this Agreement shall control.
