Task Force. A committee formed for a finite task usually of short duration. Includes certificated staff, and may include community members, administrative staff, other district staff, students, ex-officio board members or others. The main purpose of a Task Force is to research one or more specific issues and make a decision or a recommendation to the appropriate person(s). Examples of Task Forces are interview teams, candidate search or hiring committees and the levy committee.

Task Force. In collaboration with the consultant, the District will develop a Task Force that will include parents, community members, representatives from at least two community-based organizations that currently provide services to the District related to sexual and gender-based harassment, and at least three students to make recommendations for improving school climate and identifying strategies for preventing harassment and ensuring that District students understand their right to be protected from sexual and gender-based harassment and how to report incidents of harassment. The Task Force will also make recommendations concerning the education plan and guidance on remedial action required by Item XIV, including outreach to parents/guardians to educate them on the District’s Policy and Procedures concerning sexual and gender-based harassment and the District’s other anti-harassment efforts. The District will designate an employee to coordinate the Task Force’s meetings and work; the designated employee will prepare a written summary of the recommendations of the Task Force. The District may develop the Task Force from the structure and membership of an existing committee with a similar purpose. The Task Force will meet at least two times each semester REPORTING REQUIREMENTS: By March 7, 2014, the District will provide OCR with written confirmation that the task force has been duly constituted, as well as the date of the first meeting of the Task Force. By September 19, 2014, and annually thereafter, the District will provide OCR with a report summarizing the Task Force’s recommendations and the District’s responses there to, including whether and how they were implemented.
Task Force. A. The parties reiterate their mutual commitment to quality patient care. In a joint effort to ensure optimal nursing care and maintain professional standards, a task force shall be established to examine nursing practice, staffing and payroll issues, status of outstanding grievances that are not disciplinary, notices and updates regarding unit restructures, key nursing initiatives (which could include Magnet status, Releasing Time to Care, Medicare Hospital Value Based Purchasing) and Medical Center workplace process improvement projects. Agendas will be developed jointly along with an annual calendar scheduling routine outline updates (where possible). Agenda will include a schedule of staffing committee meetings. Failure of the task force to agree on a matter will not be grievable and will not be deemed to be a reopener of the Agreement. B. The Association shall appoint four (4) members to the task force, at least three (3) of whom shall be employed by the Medical Center. C. The Medical Center shall appoint four (4) members to the task force, and two (2) of them shall be the Assistant Administrator Nursing and Patient Care, and the Director of Human Resources, or such other persons as may be designated by the Administrator in their place(s). D. The task force shall meet at least once a month, or as otherwise agreed to by the Medical Center and the Association, to accomplish its assignment. Nurse members and one (1) designated nurse alternate shall be paid up to three (3) hours per month for attendance at task force meetings. E. The minutes and information furnished by the Medical Center to the Association and its task force members in connection with the functioning of the task force may be disclosed to other persons only by mutual agreement of the Medical Center and the Association.

The task force shall meet at least quarterly, or as otherwise agreed to by the 27 Service Center and the Association, to accomplish its assignment. Nurses on the 28 committee will be paid for their attendance. 30 4. Any agreements made will be put in writing.
Task Force. 31.1 A task force will be formed consisting of three (3) members from CSEA selected by CSEA and three (3) members from the District, selected by the District. The purpose of this committee will be to study and make recommendations to the respective negotiating teams with regard to the following issues: a) The feasibility/appropriateness of Student Monitors becoming unit members. b) Family Care Leave and related leave issues. c) Benefit cost containment. d) Early retirement options.
