Health Standards. The FFS Health Standard is required for Special Risk employees hired after January 1, 1993 (Single/Multi Engine Reciprocal Pilots hired after October 1, 2001). Medical Examinations shall be in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association’s NFPA 1582-2013 Standard on Comprehensive Occupational Medical Program for Fire Departments, 2013 Edition.
