Highest Average Compensation. For Limitation Years beginning before January 1, 2000, the average Compensation for the three (3) consecutive Years of Service with the Employer that produces the highest average. A Year of Service with the Employer is the twelve (12) consecutive month period defined in the Adoption Agreement, or, if not indicated in the Adoption Agreement, as defined in paragraph 1.122.
Highest Average Compensation. The average compensation for the three consecutive years of service with the employer that produces the highest average.

All qualified plans maintained by the Employer must use the same Limitation Year. If the Limitation Year is amended to a different 12-consecutive-month period, the new Limitation Year must begin on a date within the Limitation Year in which the amendment is made. (j) Master or Prototype Plan. A "Master or Prototype" plan is a plan the form of which is the subject of a favorable opinion letter from the Internal Revenue Service. (k)
Highest Average Compensation. For purposes of calculating the Defined Benefit Fraction, the average compensation for the three (3) consecutive Years of Service with the Employer that produces the highest average. A Year of Service with the Employer is the twelve-consecutive month period defined in Item B(4)(j) of the Adoption Agreement.
Highest Average Compensation. The highest annual average of the Compensation paid by the Company to an Employee during any five (5) consecutive Plan Years (excluding Plan Years prior to the first Plan Year the Plan was top-heavy and excluding Plan Years subsequent to the last Plan Year the Plan was top-heavy) or during all of such Plan Years during which the Employee received Compensation from the Company or an Affiliated Company if less than five (5).
