HIGHWAY DRIVERS. (a) City drivers are not subject to the terms and conditions of this Section, but are subject to the terms and conditions of the Working Conditions - City Article 24 of this Agreement. (b) Where a driver performs both Highway and City work/trip in a given day (a calendar day) daily overtime will be calculated after 8 hours. The daily overtime hours paid will be counted towards the calculation of weekly overtime hours so that such hours worked are not paid overtime twice. For drivers who work both highway and city trips weekly overtime will be calculated after 60 hours. Drivers shall remit such request on their trip jacket and must ensure that the applicable logs accompany the trip jacket at the time of the request as verification of the overtime worked.

HIGHWAY DRIVERS. Except as otherwise mutually agreed between the parties hereto, all employees engaged in operations shall be subject to all terms and conditions provided by this Agreement, save as hereafter expressly provided. The rates of remunerationas listed in this Agreement are considered minimum rates and shall not preclude payment of premium rates at the discretion of the Company.   • Bus Drivers The provisions of this Article apply to school term bus drivers except as hereinafter modified. Bus Drivers are guaranteed a base of one thousand and ninety (1090) hours per school year. Guarantee consists of 1090 hours divided by possible working days in a school year times actual number of days worked. This excludes Saturday and Sunday and General Holiday trips. (a) Regular shift is defined as the conveyance of passengers to school in the morning and home in the afternoon. (b) Extra shift is defined as the conveyance of passengers for extra-curricular activities. (c) Shifts shall be paid at a minimum of two (2) hours and drivers' time will be uninterrupted if less than one-half (½) hour remains between shifts. (i) Drivers are entitled to one 15 minute rest period after two (2) hours of work and a second rest period after six (6) hours of work. Paid waiting times of 15 minutes or more will be construed as a paid rest period regardless of the length of time spent waiting. (d) All work after nineteen hundred (1900) hours on those days on which the regular shift has been worked shall be deemed to be overtime. After twelve (12) hours from the start of the regular shift, work will be deemed as overtime. (e) Hours of work consisting of regular and extra shifts and overtime are shared as equally as possible amongst drivers. Each driver has the opportunity to choose a percentage of the work available beyond one’s guaranteed hours, although the decision of the Employer will prevail. If no drivers are available, other transportation department staff may share the work. (f) Where School District transportation is used for extra-curricular trips on Saturdays and Sundays, the following applies instead of the overtime rates in Article 10.2: (i) Time and one-half (1 ½) regular rate for driving to and from destination. (ii) Upon arrival at destination, waiting time shall be paid at the regular rate of pay. (iii) No shift will be paid less than four (4) hours. (iv) Trips that are cancelled where the driver positions into departure point/school shall be paid at two (2) hours at one and one half (1 ½) times the regular rate. (v) All work carried out in this sub paragraph 9.5(f) shall be on a volunteer basis and shared as equally as possible. All Transportation employees may participate and shall be paid at the Bus Driver rate of pay. (vi) An exception to 9.5 (f) (i) to (iv) above will apply to bus driving on ski trips. Bus drivers who drive on ski trips shall share those hours only with other registered ski trip drivers. (g) Work carried out on General Holidays shall be paid in accordance with the current contract rates. (h) At the end of each school year a review of school bus drivers’ hours of work will be made to ensure minimum guarantee is met. Any shortages will be paid out.

  • Gardens 3.8.1 If your property has a garden you must keep this tidy and not allow your garden to become a nuisance to other neighbours. You should keep lawns cut and xxxxxx trimmed. 3.8.2 If you have a communal garden you must not install a trampoline or leave a paddling pool with water in unattended. 3.8.3 You must make sure that your refuse is put out ready for collection in accordance with the Council’s waste collection and recycling service. 3.8.4 If you live in a flat or maisonette, you may be expected to deposit rubbish in the bins provided in the designated area. You must use these bins and not leave household waste in any other parts of the internal communal areas or external areas. 3.8.5 You must not deposit or allow rubbish to accumulate in your garden. We may charge you the costs for clearing any rubbish that you have not disposed of correctly. 3.8.6 You must not use the garden or the drive to the property to store, load or unload materials such as scrap metal. If you do we may remove the items and charge you for doing this. We will give you written notice that we will be removing the items. 3.8.7 You must not erect a greenhouse, garage or shed at the property without our written permission. We may withdraw our permission if the building causes nuisance or becomes unsafe. If we grant you permission in our capacity as landlord you may still require planning permission and/or comply with building regulations. 3.8.8 You must not build a fish pond, swimming pool, water feature or patio in your garden without our written permission. If we give you permission to carry out this work you will have to remove these at the end of your tenancy at your own expense. If we have to remove these items we will charge you the cost of this. 3.8.9 You must not remove, replace or reposition any hedge or fence at the property without getting our written permission. 3.8.10 You must not plant large types of trees in your garden for example leylandii, conifers, willow, oak, ash and so on. These may damage the structure of your home and cause subsidence. 3.8.11 You must not allow any hedge to grow more than two metres high or overhang pavements or your neighbours’ gardens. 3.8.12 If you continually fail to look after your garden and it is considered an eyesore we may ask you to move to a property without a garden. If you refuse we may ask the Court to end your tenancy. You may also be charged the cost of clearing your garden when your tenancy ends.

  • Summer Session A. All ASEs employed in the Summer Session shall receive the same general range adjustment as ASEs received in the preceding Fall term. B. The following articles apply to ASEs who are employed in the summer session: Recognition, Wages (range adjustment only), DCP, Travel, Health and Safety, Leaves, Holidays, Duration, Workspace and Instructional Support, Parking, Grievance and Arbitration, Waiver, Management and Academic Rights, No Strikes, Non-Discrimination, Union Access and Rights, Union Security, Discipline and Dismissal, Emergency Layoff, Employment Files and Evaluations, Definitions, Severability, Labor-Management Meetings, and Classifications. C. The remainder of the articles in the agreement does not apply to ASEs who are employed in the summer session. D. The topic of Summer Session, and effects of changes on terms and conditions of employment for ASEs employed in Summer Session, shall be reopened for bargaining commencing no later than January 2, 2001.

  • Drivers Any and all drivers who drive the Vehicles you are renting/leasing from us shall be duly licensed, trained and qualified to drive vehicles of this type. Although we may, from time to time, recommend certain qualified drivers with whom we are familiar, we do not supply drivers. You must supply and employ any driver who drives our Vehicles (even if the driver is the registered owner of the vehicle or owner of a company that owns the vehicle) and that driver shall be deemed to be your employee for all purposes and shall be covered as an additional insured on all of your applicable insurance policies.

  • Check Meters Developer, at its option and expense, may install and operate, on its premises and on its side of the Point of Interconnection, one or more check meters to check Connecting Transmission Owner’s meters. Such check meters shall be for check purposes only and shall not be used for the measurement of power flows for purposes of this Agreement, except as provided in Article 7.4 below. The check meters shall be subject at all reasonable times to inspection and examination by Connecting Transmission Owner or its designee. The installation, operation and maintenance thereof shall be performed entirely by Developer in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Wire Unbundled DS1 Digital Loop This is a designed 4-wire Loop that is provisioned according to industry standards for DS1 or Primary Rate ISDN services and will come standard with a test point, OC, and a DLR. A DS1 Loop may be provisioned over a variety of loop transmission technologies including copper, HDSL-based technology or fiber optic transport systems. It will include a 4-Wire DS1 Network Interface at the End User’s location.
