Common use of Home Responsibilities Clause in Contracts

Home Responsibilities. A leave for this purpose may be granted to a faculty member to care for his/her immediate family member whose health temporarily requires substantial attention of the faculty member. The application for such leave must be supported by the written recommendation of a licensed physician or health practitioner. Such leave also may be granted to permit a faculty member to place a newborn or newly adopted child in his/her home in excess of the provisions of Section 8.5.
