Common use of Homeless Clause in Contracts

Homeless. Dayton Leadership Academies - Dayton View coordinates services with the Resident District when a student is determined to be homeless under the XxXxxxxx-Xxxxx Homeless Assistance Act. Children and youth in homeless situations will be provided services comparable to those received by other students, including transportation to and from their school of origin, to the extent possible. In addition, the homeless child will: • Be eligible to receive transportation services • Be allowed to receive additional educational services, if eligible • Receive meals under school nutrition programs • Not be denied enrollment based on lack of proof of residency The director of family and community outreach is the liaison for students in homeless situations and will ensure that the rights of homeless students are protected and that they have the opportunity to reach the same high academic standards expected of all students.
