Common use of Hourly Substitutes Clause in Contracts

Hourly Substitutes. Teachers assigned to teach during a scheduled preparation period, or doubled up with two classrooms, shall be paid $44.56 during the first year of the Contract and $44.56 during the second year of the Contract if the scheduled preparation period was twenty-five (25) minutes or more and $21.16 during the first year of the Contract and

Teachers who substitute may elect compensatory time as per Section 8 in lieu of monetary compensation. Part-time teachers whose schedule allows them to substitute for other staff beyond their contracted duty day shall be paid at the above rates.

Part time teachers whose schedule allows them to substitute for other staff beyond their contracted duty day shall be paid at the Contract andabove rates.

Teachers who substitute may elect compensatory time as per Section 8 in lieu of monetary compensation. Part-time teachers whose schedule allows them to substitute for other staff beyond their contracted duty day shall be paid at the above rates.
