Common use of HOURLY TEACHERS Clause in Contracts

HOURLY TEACHERS. Regularly employed hourly teachers will be credited with one (1) hour of sick leave for each eighteen and three-tenths (18.3) hours of pay. Unused sick leave will accumulate from year to year. Earned sick leave for hourly employees will be paid on the basis of the average number of hours of their specific assignment. Payment of sick leave cannot exceed the amount of sick leave accumulated to the day of absence.
