Housing Advice Service a specialist approach to provide debt counselling and mortgage arrears advice and to prevent homelessness where possible. Eligibility conditions are set out in Schedule A. The definition of homelessness is taken from s.175 Housing Act 1996 as amended by the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, an extract of which is attached at Schedule D.
