Maternity Services Your benefits for maternity services are the same as your benefits for any other condition and are available whether you have Individual Coverage or Family Coverage. Mastectomy Services Inpatient This plan provides coverage for a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours in a hospital following a mastectomy and a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours in a hospital following an axillary node dissection. Any decision to shorten these minimum coverages shall be made by the attending physician in consultation with and upon agreement with you. If you participate in an early discharge, defined as inpatient care following a mastectomy that is less than forty-eight (48) hours and inpatient care following an axillary node dissection that is less than twenty-four (24) hours, coverage shall include a minimum of one (1) home visit conducted by a physician or registered nurse.
Mediation Service The Mediation Service is a free and independent service available through MBIE. This service helps to resolve employment relationship problems and generally to promote the smooth conduct of employment relationships. Mediation is a mutual problem solving process, with the aim of reaching an agreement, assisted by an independent third party. If the parties can’t reach a settlement they can ask the mediator, in writing, to make a final and binding decision. A settlement reached through mediation and signed by the mediator at the request of the parties is final, binding and enforceable. Neither party can then take the matter any further and either party can be made to comply with the agreed settlement by court order. If the problem is unresolved through mediation either party may apply to have the matter dealt with by the Employment Relations Authority.
IN-SERVICE When a nurse attends any in-service programme during her/his regularly scheduled working hours, she/he shall suffer no loss of pay. When a nurse is unable to do so, and attends the in-service programme outside her/his regularly scheduled hours, she/he shall be paid for all time attendance at her/his straight time rate of pay. If attendance is mandatory all applicable premiums will apply.
Provision for Generation Compensation Grid unavailability in a contract year as defined in the PPA: (only period from 8 am to 6 pm to be counted): Generation Loss = [(Average Generation per hour during the Contract Year) × (number of hours of grid unavailability during the Contract Year)] Where, Average Generation per hour during the Contract Year (kWh) = Total generation in the Contract Year (kWh) ÷ Total hours of generation in the Contract Year. The excess generation by the SPD equal to this generation loss shall be procured by the Buying Utility at the PSA tariff so as to offset this loss in the succeeding 3 (three) Contract Years.
