The licensed professional may use a maximum of five (5) days, during any contract year, on account of death of members of the immediate family. Additional days of bereavement, in cases involving the immediate family, may be granted upon petition to the Board. The immediate family shall mean the husband, wife, (step)mother (in-law), (step)father (in- law), (step)brother (in-law), (step)sister (in-law), daughter (in-law), son (in-law), (step)grandparents, (step)grandchildren, stepchildren, or any other person living in the immediate household.

  • Personal Illness or Disability The bargaining unit member may use all or any portion of his leave to recover from his/her own illness or disability.

  • Illness or Disability If, because of Employee’s illness or other disability for a continuous period of more than 45 days, Employee is unable to render the services required by the Company as provided herein, the Company may terminate Employee’s employment hereunder by written notice to Employee at least 30 days in advance of such termination.
