Illness of a Child, Spouse or Parent. In the case of a sudden illness of a child, spouse or parent where the employee is the only person in the home capable of dealing with the emergency, paid leave of up to six days per calendar year pursuant to this article may be used by the employee to care for the child, spouse or parent.
