Common use of ILO CONVENTIONS Clause in Contracts

ILO CONVENTIONS. 12.1. The employer agrees to accept obligations made under international labour standards. The employer will support employment policies which take account of: (a) Convention 100 – Equal Remuneration (1951); (b) Convention 111 – Discrimination (Employment and Occupation) (1958); (c) Convention 122 – Employment Policy (1964); (d) Convention 142 – Human Resource Development (1975); and (e) Convention 156 – Workers with Family Responsibilities (1981). 12.2. The parties to this Agreement will monitor the extent to which policies and practices match relevant obligations under these conventions. Any real or perceived deficiencies will be the subject of discussions between the parties to develop agreed strategies to address any problems.
