Immediate Report of Assault. Unit members shall immediately report cases of assault suffered by them in connection with their employment to the Executive Director, Lead Facilitator, or designee who shall immediately report the incident to the police. The Executive Director, Lead Facilitator, or designee shall release the employee from duty when he/she is required to make a statement to the police or appear in court in connection with the incident.

Immediate Report of Assault. Members shall immediately report cases of assault or attacks suffered in connection with their employment to the Principal or immediate supervisor and have the right to contact the local law enforcement. Envision Education shall release the employee from duty without loss of pay or benefits when he/she is required to make a statement to the police or appear in court in connection to the incident. There shall be no reprisals by Envision Education to the member for making reports to law enforcement.

Immediate Report of Assault. Unit members shall immediately report any alleged assault suffered by the unit member in connection with their employment to their immediate supervisor and may report the alleged assault to the appropriate law enforcement. DCP shall release the unit member from duty without loss of pay or benefits if the unit member is required to make a statement to law enforcement or appear in court in connection with the alleged assault. DCP shall take no action to retaliate against the unit member for making a report of an alleged assault to law enforcement.
