impact of the operation on traffic volume and traffic circulation Sample Clauses

impact of the operation on traffic volume and traffic circulation. A Traffic Impact Statement (TIS) was submitted in support of this application. The TIS asserts that the current two-way two-lane collector road is capable of handling the anticipated traffic volume for the site and that the stopping sight distance in both directions is sufficient. The Nova Scotia Department of Public Works (NSPW) (former NSTIR or NSTAT) has reviewed the proposal and advised that no negative impact to the Provincial road network is anticipated. NSPW has however advised that only one driveway for the existing business is permitted and all other access points must be removed or permanently blocked. This is implemented through the proposed development agreement and reflected in the attached site plan (Schedules B-1 and B-2).
