Import and Export Restrictions. 1. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, neither Party may adopt or maintain any prohibition or restriction on the importation of any good of the other Party or on the exportation or sale for export of any good destined for the territory of the other Party, except in accordance with Article XI of GATT 1994 and its interpretative notes, and to this end Article XI of GATT 1994 and its interpretative notes are incorporated into and made a part of this Agreement, mutatis mutandis.

Neither Party may adopt or maintain any prohibition or restriction other than duties, taxes or other charges on the importation of any good of the other Party or on the exportation or sale for export of any good destined for the territory of the other Party, in accordance with Article XI of GATT 1994 and its interpretative notes. Import and Export Restrictions. The Parties acknowledge that the Services and certain equipment, software and technical data to be provided hereunder may be subject to import, export and re-export controls under the U.S. Export Administration Regulations and certain regulations under the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of Commerce and regulations of other countries or governments. Neither Party shall export or re-export any Services, Software, technical data or intellectual property, or undertake any transaction in violation of any such export and import laws and each Party shall be responsible for its compliance with all such laws.
Import and Export Restrictions. Neither Party may institute or maintain any prohibition or restriction other than duties, taxes or other charges, whether made effective through quotas, import or export licences or other measures, on the importation of any good of the other Party or on the exportation or sale for export of any good destined for the territory of the other Party, in accordance with Article XI of the GATT 1994, including its interpretative notes, which are incorporated into and made part of this Agreement, mutatis mutandis.

The Parties understand that the GATT 1994 rights and obligations incorporated by paragraph 1 prohibit, in any circumstances in which any other form of restriction is prohibited, a Party from adopting or maintaining: (a) export and import price requirements, except as permitted in enforcement of countervailing and anti-dumping duty orders and undertakings; (b) import licensing conditioned on the fulfillment of a performance requirement; or (c) voluntary export restraints inconsistent with Article VI of GATT 1994, as implemented under Article 18 of the SCM Agreement and Article 8.1
Import and Export Restrictions. The rights and obligations of the Parties in respect of export and import restrictions shall be governed by Article XI of the GATT 1994, which is hereby incorporated into and made part of this Agreement.
Import and Export Restrictions. 1. The Parties undertake to completely and immediately eliminate non-tariff barriers, with the exception of the rights of the Parties under Articles XX and XXI of the GATT 1994 and those regulated in Chapter 8 (Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures) and Chapter 9 (Standards-Related Measures, Metrology and Approval Procedures).

Each Party shall not introduce or maintain any prohibition or restriction other than customs duties on the importation of any good of the other Party or on the exportation or sale for export of any good destined to the other Party, which is inconsistent with its obligations under the relevant provisions of the WTO Agreement.

No prohibitions or restrictions other than duties, taxes or other charges, whether made effective through quotas, import or export licenses or other measures, shall be instituted or maintained in trade between the Parties in accordance with Article XI of the GATT 1994, which is hereby incorporated into and made part of this Agreement mutatis mutandis.
