Income Tax Provisions. (a) It is the intention of the parties hereto that, for income tax purposes, the Trust shall be treated as a security device for the issuance of debt represented by the Notes, and its assets shall be treated as owned by the Owner separately and directly (and not as partners in a partnership). The parties hereto agree that they will take no action contrary to the foregoing intention.

  • Tax Provisions The Policyholder and each transferee and assignee of this Policy, to the extent required by law, agree to provide GLAIC with any properly completed tax forms that are needed for GLAIC to satisfy its tax reporting obligations with respect to amounts held under this Policy.   • Income Tax Allocations (a) Except as provided in this Section 4.3, each item of income, gain, loss and deduction of the Company for federal income tax purposes shall be allocated among the Members in the same manner as such items are allocated for Capital Account purposes under Section 4.1 and Section 4.2.

The provisions of this Indenture shall be construed in furtherance of the foregoing intended tax treatment.
