Common use of Inconsistent Duty Compensation Clause in Contracts

Inconsistent Duty Compensation. Unit members who are required and directed by their immediate supervisors to perform higher level duties inconsistent with their normal assigned duties for more than four (4) working days within a fifteen (15) calendar day period shall have their salary adjusted upward. This increase shall be effective for the entire period they are required to work out of classification. The amount of this increase will reasonably reflect the duties of that job classification required to be performed by the unit member outside his or her normal assigned duties.
