Minimum Days. 8.04.1 For minimum days established on Back-to-School Night and/or Open House, bargaining unit members may leave at the end of the student instructional day subject to the professional provisions of 8.01.1. 8.04.2 When a minimum day is established on the last day of school, bargaining unit members may leave at the end of the student instructional day after they have either completed check-out procedures or have made other arrangements with the site administrator.

Minimum Days. No unit member shall have his or her hours reduced, or be required to use vacation time, on minimum days during which pupils would otherwise have been in attendance but are not and for which certificated personnel receive regular pay, classified personnel shall also receive regular pay whether or not they are required to report for duty that day. District designated Emergency Days will replace Minimum Days in the following order: 18.4.6.1 Any excess minutes built into the school year instructional minutes. 18.4.6.2 Four (4) discretionary minimum days; 18.4.6.3 Up to Three (3) days per each semester, or two (2) days per each quarter /trimester for final exams. 18.4.6.4 Two (2) days for Back to School and Open House/Eighth Grade Parent Night;

Minimum Days. Each school year, a site shall conduct a vote requiring a 2/3 vote of all ballots submitted to determine the placement of three (3) minimum days.
Minimum Days. 4.5.1 Back to School Night, Open House, the day before Thanksgiving, the day before winter break and the day before spring break, and the last instructional day shall be scheduled as minimum days. 4.5.2 In addition the schools shall have up to ten (10) minimum days established by the staff and approved by the Site Council. These days are to be used for parent teacher conferences and/or school site staff development. The dates and specific purposes for these ten (10) days shall be established by the Site Council before the last day of school each year. The entitlement to these Site Council minimum days shall be considered separate from the minimum days above (Section 4.5.1) and the early dismissal Thursdays specified below in Section 4.6. The site may use all ten (10) days as long as the school meets the required baseline minimum annual minutes referred to in Section 4.1.2.
Minimum Days. All schools will have a total of eight (8) minimum days as follows: (i) For first trimester parent conferences, there will be five (5) minimum days for all schools. (ii) For second trimester parent conferences, there will be two (2) minimum days for elementary schools and one (1) minimum day for middle schools. (iii) The remaining minimum day is the last student instructional day for elementary and the last two student instructional days for middle schools.
