Increases in Service Demand. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and associated lockdowns there has been an increased demand for support services in general, one example of which has been an increased demand for domestic abuse and sexual violence services. The PCC has been successful in bidding for additional funding from the Ministry of Justice to support our local domestic abuse service providers which includes funding for new IDVA and ISVA posts [Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) and Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA)]. As well as this, the PCC has also been successful in gaining Home Office funding for domestic abuse and tackling perpetrator programmes.

Whilst this was welcome news, in general all public sector organisations are now dealing with financial challenges due to the legacy of the pandemic and the cost of living crisis; with the demand for services remaining high while costs increase and budgets remain constrained.

  • Change in Services If Customer wishes to change the scope of the Services, it shall submit details of the requested change to Company in writing.   • Changes in Services The parties agree and acknowledge that any Provider may make changes from time to time in the manner of performing the applicable Services if such Provider is making similar changes in performing similar services for itself, its Affiliates or other third parties, if any, and if such Provider furnishes to the Recipient substantially the same notice (in content and timing) as such Provider provides to its Affiliates or other third parties, if any, respecting such changes. In addition, and without limiting the immediately preceding sentence in any way, and notwithstanding any provision of this Agreement to the contrary, such Provider may make any of the following changes without obtaining the prior consent of the Recipient: (i) changes to the process of performing a particular Service that do not adversely affect the benefits to the Recipient of such Provider’s provision or quality of such Service in any material respect or materially increase the charge for such Service; (ii) emergency changes on a temporary and short-term basis; and (iii) changes to a particular Service in order to comply with applicable Law or regulatory requirements.

  • EFFECTIVE DATE/COMPLETION OF SERVICES 3.1 Notwithstanding any provision of this Agreement to the contrary, and subject to the approval of the Governor and Executive Council of the State of New Hampshire, if applicable, this Agreement, and all obligations of the parties hereunder, shall become effective on the date the Governor and Executive Council approve this Agreement as indicated in block 1.17, unless no such approval is required, in which case the Agreement shall become effective on the date the Agreement is signed by the State Agency as shown in block 1.13 (“Effective Date”).

  • Pricing Increase Requests Subsequent to the first twelve (12) months of the Contract term and in accordance with the schedule for price adjustments established by OGS, Contractor may request an increase in the pricing contained in the Centralized Contract by submitting an update request based on change in pricing level as contained in Appendix C, Contract Modification Procedure to the OGS Contract Administrator. With any price increase request, in addition to the requirements contained in Appendix C, the Contractor must certify in writing that the price change for the Services is the same as its pricing in its GSA Supply Schedule, and that Contractor documents the request to the satisfaction of the State.

  • Service Level Commitment IBM provides the following service level commitment (“SLA”) for the Cloud Service, after IBM makes the Cloud Service available to you.
