Increases to Variable Salary. Variable salary may be increased by the Administration to reward an individual Faculty Member for outstanding research contributions, for retention efforts, or for the correction of any market inequity. When such individual adjustments are made, the Administration shall inform the AAUP and shall state the reasons with the specific documentation leading to the adjustment. Adjustments made under this Article shall come from the budget of the College of Medicine.
