SUPPLEMENTAL SALARIES. 1. The index figures from paragraph three (3) of this section shall be used to determine all supplemental salaries. Index figures shall be applied to the 150 Hours Column of the salary schedule (Step 0). 2. The Board shall have the authority to determine whether any supplemental positions shall be filled and to determine who shall fill any position. New positions may be added by the Board and the index figure set by written agreement between the Xxxxxx Local Education Association and the Xxxxxx Board of Education.
SUPPLEMENTAL SALARIES. 1. Teachers who are employed and are to be compensated by the Board of Education for approved supplemental duties in addition to regular teaching duties shall be employed on "supplemental contracts." A supplemental contract shall be valid for only one (1) school year, and shall automatically expire at the end of that school year without further action or notice by the Board of Education. 2. Teachers shall be compensated for supplemental duties for which they are employed in accordance with the salary schedule attached hereto as Appendix C to this Agreement. Supplemental salaries shall be calculated on the base salary in effect in the particular school year. The Board of Education need not fill any or all positions li sted on the schedule in any particular school year. The Superintendent shall determine whether a vacancy exists in a supplemental position and when to fill the vacancy. The elimination of a supplemental position or the failure to fill a position shall not be subject to bargaining with the Association. If a supplemental position listed on the schedule is filled, the compensation for it shall be in accordance with the supplemental salary schedule. 3. For purposes of filling supplemental positions, satellite teachers of Pickaway-Xxxx Joint Vocational School District assigned to Circleville City School District building(s) shall be considered to have the same preference and priority that bargaining unit members of CEA have under this Master Contract. 4. Supplemental duties and salaries may be split with approval of the administration. 5. All varsity head coaches shall be permitted two (2) professional days to attend clinics associated with their sport; all other paid coaches shall be permitted one (1) professional day to attend clinics associated with their sport with the approval of administration.
SUPPLEMENTAL SALARIES. A subcommittee shall address issues regarding the supplemental salary schedule, including but not limited to compensation, types of supplementals, and procedures related to supplemental contracts.
SUPPLEMENTAL SALARIES. Supplemental salaries are based on the BA-0 base in accordance with the supplemental salary schedule. (See Appendix B).
SUPPLEMENTAL SALARIES. A. Salaries for supplemental duties shall be computed according to Articles 21 and 22. Percentages indicated refer to the base salary. "Years of Experience" refers to experience in the activity under consideration. B. Supplemental duties shall be defined as those duties for which a supplemental contract is issued. C. Such changes will be attached as amendments to this Agreement, but shall not require or constitute a reopening of bargaining. When there is a substantial change in the nature of the duty(ies), such position(s) shall be reviewed by the Committee. An individual holding a supplemental contract must request to meet with this Committee, by delivering a written request to the Superintendent, to give evidence of why the supplemental contract should be moved to a different group. If no requests are submitted prior to February 1st, the Committee shall not meet. The Committee shall be composedof the Superintendent, the Association President or his/her designee, and a bargaining unit member on a supplemental contract agreeable to both the Superintendent and the President. Any changes recommended by a unanimous voteof this committee shall be implemented by the Superintendent in the following school year. E. All supplemental contracts are in addition to teaching contracts and shall be for the period of the current school year (July 1 - June 30). F. No teacher shall be required to accept a supplemental contract, except the following teacher positions which are listed below with corresponding supplemental contracts: 1. Head Band Director: Marching Band Director and Instrumental Music I 2. Assistant Band Director: Assistant Marching Band Director and Instrumental Music II 3. Orchestra: Orchestra Performances 4. Vocal Music HS: HS Vocal Music Performances. 5. Vocal Music MS: MS Vocal Music Performances 6. High School Drama: Theater Arts Producer & Director 7. Intermediate Music: Intermediate Music Performances 8. Elementary Music: Elementary Music Performances
SUPPLEMENTAL SALARIESSection 1. The Employer will determine the need for supplemental contracts and negotiate them individually with the employees concerned. Upon request of the affected employee, a representative of the Union may be present to review the contract with said employee and the Employer. Section 2. The terms of such supplemental contracts shall not be grievable; however, an alleged breach of any signed supplemental contract may be appealed through the grievance procedure.

SUPPLEMENTAL SALARIES. 1. The supplemental salary for members of the bargaining unit is provided in Appendix "E". 2. Compensation is determined by multiplying the appropriate index value times the base salary then in effect. 3. Supplemental salary placement will be based on years of coaching experience and activity experience. 4. The supplemental salary schedule may be amended during negotiations or through memorandum of understanding between the Board and the Association. If necessary, the Board may offer multiple contracts for any given position. 5. Supplemental contract payments for individuals whose only employment is/are supplemental contract(s) will be made following the conclusion of the supplemental contract season or event once they have completed all contractual requirements.
SUPPLEMENTAL SALARIES. 1. Service by members of the bargaining unit extending before or after such member’s regular duty day and which is not a part of the member’s regular teaching duties shall be deemed supplemental duties and shall be set forth in a limited contract of one (1) year. Notwithstanding Section 3319.11 of the Ohio Revised Code, such supplemental contract shall expire on the date stated thereon, unless the Board, upon recommendation of the Superintendent, takes action to offer said member of the bargaining unit, a renewal of such supplemental contract. 2. Supplemental pay will be paid on the next regularly scheduled pay date after completion of the supplemental activity period. 3. The supplemental salary schedule shall be effective July 1, 2018 and shall effect all contracts for activities or athletic seasons that begin following that date. The percentages shall be based upon the base salary (B.A.-0) of $27,603. 4. Payment of Supplemental Contract stipends shall be at the employee(s)' regular rate of deductions for tax purposes unless prohibited by the Internal Revenue Service. 5. The Board of Education shall have the authority to create, alter, and/or eliminate supplemental positions under this subsection. If a new position is created and/or a position is altered, the Board shall negotiate with the XXXX covering the rate of compensation. 6. The Board has the right to determine which supplemental positions need to be filled. 7. All supplemental positions not directly attached to a teaching position for an academic grade will be automatically non-renewed annually and posted and filled by qualified bargaining unit members prior to any non-bargaining unit member. 8. For the life of this contract, July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020, the base salary for the purpose of calculating supplemental contracts shall be $27,603. 9. EXTRA DUTY PAY SCHEDULE-SUPPLEMENTAL CONTRACTS The 7th year and above column is only available to XXXX members holding supplemental contracts or have previous supplemental experience, in the district and in the same supplemental position. Previous years of experience in the district will be used to calculate experience and placement on the salary scale. The 7th and beyond column for any supplemental salary is for XXXX members only with supplemental experience in previously served positions prior to 6/01/2014.
