Indexation Factors and Escalation Rate. (a) The Quarterly Indexation Factor for each Quarter (QIFq) is calculated as follows: CPI(q-1) QIFq = ( ) CPIBase where: CPI(q-1) = CPI for the Quarter immediately preceding the relevant Quarter; and CPIBase = CPI for the Quarter ending 31 December 2026, or such other CPI as may be determined under clause 4.9 of this Deed.

  • Wage Adjustments If the funding available to be used for wages provided by Government in any fiscal year increases, the Employer shall pass on such increases to employees consistent with the funding increase adjusted for any additional deficits that this contract incurs. The Employer shall also deduct from each eligible employee's gross monthly earnings 6% and remit that amount together with the Employer's required contribution on behalf of each employee to the pension fund.
