Common use of Industry Participation Clause in Contracts

Industry Participation. 1. Each Party shall, through any forum or other mechanism it considers appropriate: (a) facilitate the involvement of suppliers of public telecommunications networks or services of the other Party operating in its territory in the development of industry standards and, where it considers appropriate, in the regulation of the telecommunications industry; and (b) encourage suppliers of public telecommunications networks or services of the other Party operating in its territory to provide feedback to regulators on the regulation of the telecommunications industry.
