INFLUENT WASTEWATER SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS. CITY will conduct routine sampling for BOD and TSS at DISTRICT “End-of-Pipe” location. CITY may conduct additional sampling for baseline monitoring to ensure water quality standards are met and no POC are present in concentrations exceeding any regulatory or LRWRP operational limits. If a POC is present, then DISTRICT may be required to reduce POC to an acceptable concentration. CITY may require DISTRICT to conduct sampling and analysis. Sampling shall be conducted in accordance with 40 CFR 136, as amended.

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing – Safety-Sensitive Functions A. Employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are subject to pre-employment, post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation rules, Coast Guard Regulations (46 CFR Part 16) or the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. The testing will be conducted in accordance with current Employer policy.

  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control Contractor shall establish and maintain a quality assurance/quality control program which shall include procedures for continuous control of all construction and comprehensive inspection and testing of all items of Work, including any Work performed by Subcontractors, so as to ensure complete conformance to the Contract with respect to materials, workmanship, construction, finish, functional performance, and identification. The program established by Contractor shall comply with any quality assurance/quality control requirements incorporated in the Contract.

  • Prescription Safety Glasses Prescription safety glasses will be furnished by the employer. The employer retains the authority to establish reasonable rules and procedures regarding frequency of issue, replacement of damaged glasses, limits on reimbursement costs and coordination with the employer's vision plan.

  • Testing Landlord shall have the right to conduct annual tests of the Premises to determine whether any contamination of the Premises or the Project has occurred as a result of Tenant’s use. Tenant shall be required to pay the cost of such annual test of the Premises; provided, however, that if Tenant conducts its own tests of the Premises using third party contractors and test procedures acceptable to Landlord which tests are certified to Landlord, Landlord shall accept such tests in lieu of the annual tests to be paid for by Tenant. In addition, at any time, and from time to time, prior to the expiration or earlier termination of the Term, Landlord shall have the right to conduct appropriate tests of the Premises and the Project to determine if contamination has occurred as a result of Tenant’s use of the Premises. In connection with such testing, upon the request of Landlord, Tenant shall deliver to Landlord or its consultant such non-proprietary information concerning the use of Hazardous Materials in or about the Premises by Tenant or any Tenant Party. If contamination has occurred for which Tenant is liable under this Section 30, Tenant shall pay all costs to conduct such tests. If no such contamination is found, Landlord shall pay the costs of such tests (which shall not constitute an Operating Expense). Landlord shall provide Tenant with a copy of all third party, non-confidential reports and tests of the Premises made by or on behalf of Landlord during the Term without representation or warranty and subject to a confidentiality agreement. Tenant shall, at its sole cost and expense, promptly and satisfactorily remediate any environmental conditions identified by such testing in accordance with all Environmental Requirements. Landlord’s receipt of or satisfaction with any environmental assessment in no way waives any rights which Landlord may have against Tenant.

  • Accident Prevention Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union agree that they mutually to maintain standards of safety and health in the Hospital in order to prevent accidents, injury, and illness. ected or Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Hospital agrees to accept as a member of its Accident Prevention Health and Safety Committee, at least one (1) representative sel appointed by the Union from amongst Bargaining Unit employees.   • Quality Assurance The parties endorse the underlying principles of the Company’s Quality Management System, which seeks to ensure that its services are provided in a manner which best conforms to the requirements of the contract with its customer. This requires the Company to establish and maintain, implement, train and continuously improve its procedures and processes, and the employees to follow the procedures, document their compliance and participate in the improvement process. In particular, this will require employees to regularly and reliably fill out documentation and checklists to signify that work has been carried out in accordance with the customer’s specific requirements. Where necessary, training will be provided in these activities.

  • Erosion and Sediment Control The Contractor shall install and maintain erosion and sediment control devices to prevent adjacent streets, storm drains and property from accumulations of soil, sediment, or dust which result from his work. Devices installed to control sediment and prevent erosion shall comply with the requirements of the Georgia Tech Project Superintendent. The Contractor is responsible for monitoring downstream conditions throughout the construction period and clearing any debris, sediment, and dust caused by the progress of the Work. The Contractor shall inspect, maintain, and clear erosion and sediment control devices at least weekly unless otherwise directed by the Georgia Institute of Technology Construction Manager. At the conclusion of the Work, the Contractor shall remove all installed devices and restoring the site to the satisfaction of the Georgia Tech Construction Manager.
