Common use of Informal Hearing Clause in Contracts

Informal Hearing. a. An employee who believes that a grievable action has been suffered shall first present the grievance informally to the employee's supervisor within fourteen (14) days after the fact or circumstances giving rise to the grievance. b. A Union representative shall be in attendance at the employee's informal hearing with the employee's supervisor. c. The supervisor will give his/her decision within fourteen (14) days of the informal hearing.
