Instructional Contact Hour. An instructional contact hour is defined as 50 minutes during which an academic employee meets with a group of students to engage in the following teaching/learning activities:
(1) Lecture and/or discussion instruction, or
(2) Laboratory, clinical, physical education (activity classes) or studio instruction.
