Instrumentation and Control Systems (I&CS. Schematic design work for the instrumentation and control will include the following activities: • Prepare a process flow drawing (PFD) for each system. Information to be included on each PFD includes at a minimum: Process configuration, flow streams, valve locations (manual and powered), equipment location/type including packaged control panels, flow meters and other process control devices. No adjustable speed drives are expected to be used for this project. • Develop equipment/instrument tag numbering, naming, and abbreviation conventions. • Review existing telemetry systems and client goals and develop a needs assessment. • Develop recommendations for communications systems for new pump stations, considering integration into existing City communications network. • Prepare written operational description of the pump station, reflecting system wide operations including interaction with Wyndemere Pump Station. • Develop overall control philosophy including local control approach, control system, level of automation, telemetry approach and supervisory control. • Review concepts and draft work products with and seek approval from quality control reviewer.

  • SUPERVISION AND CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURES 4.3.1 The Contractor shall supervise and direct the Work, using his / her best skill and attention. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for all construction means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures and for coordinating all portions of the Work under the Contract. All aspects of the Project shall be subject to the inspection and approval of the State.   • System Monitoring to ensure safe and continuous operation, the Customer must monitor key services and resource use as recommended by Deswik, and provide Deswik with details of monitoring and any relevant alerts as needed. Services to be monitors include, without limitation, disk space, CPU usage, memory usage, database connectivity, and network utilization.

  • Interconnection Facilities Engineering Procurement and Construction Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, and Distribution Upgrades shall be studied, designed, and constructed pursuant to Good Utility Practice. Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.

  • Monitoring Equipment 2.2.1 24-hour TSP air quality monitoring was performed using High Volume Sampler (HVS) located at each designated monitoring station. The HVS meets all the requirements of the Project Specific EM&A Manual. Portable direct reading dust meters were used to carry out the 1-hour TSP monitoring. Brand and model of the equipment is given in Table 2.1.
