Insulating Oil. A full supply of insulating oil shall be provided, plus a minimum reserve of 5% of the net volume. The oil shall be shipped separately, in hermetically sealed steel containers. The power transformer shall be shipped without oil. Instead, it shall be filled with nitrogen gas for transportation. The dielectric oil to be supplied shall be refined mineral oil, whose chemical composition shall not include inhibiting substances, and shall meet IEC 60354 and IEC 60296 standards.

  • Electrical Safety Only UL approved items are permitted in Housing & Residence Life. Extension and multi-use cords must be heavy duty, single plug, and be UL approved. Altering or adapting electrical outlets and equipment and overloading circuits jeopardize safety and thus are not permitted.

  • Lighting A system of fixtures providing or controlling the light sources used on or near the airport or within the airport buildings.
