Intensive Outpatient Treatment Sample Clauses

Intensive Outpatient Treatment. Such structured programming services are provided to beneficiaries (a minimum of 9 hours with a maximum of 19 hours a week for adults) when determined by a Medical Director or Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to be medically necessary in accordance with an individualized client plan. Lengths of treatment can be extended when determined to be medically necessary. Services consist primarily of counseling and education about addiction-related and mental health problems. Services must also have support by an interdisciplinary team of appropriately credentialed addiction treatment professionals.
