Intention to Mini Compete Process Sample Clauses

Intention to Mini Compete Process. A Contracting Body may choose to carry out an ‘Intention to Mini Compete’ process (hereinafter ITM), to identify capable Organisations prior to the issue of the Mini Competition Invitation to Tender. This process is equivalent to an ‘Expression of Interest’ stage and marks the start of the Mini-Competition process. Alternatively, a Contracting Body may wish to proceed directly to the issue of the Mini Competition Invitation to Tender to all capable Provider(s) within the applicable lot(s). If carrying out an ITM process, all Provider(s) within the applicable lot(s) will be notified of the requirements which will be the subject of the Mini Competition and will be given a time limit by which to express an interest in competing for the Call-off Contract. (As with Mini Competitions, the time limit set for responses will vary, but will take into account the complexity of the requirements and the time needed to prepare and submit responses in each case). The Mini Competition Invitation to Tender will then be issued to those Provider(s) who have expressed an interest via the ITM. The undertaking of an ITM exercise does not bind a Contracting Body to conduct a Mini Competition. Bodies reserve the right to re-issue an ITM or to amend and re- issue an ITM should there be an insufficient number of expressions of interest to ensure genuine competition. Should there only be one expression of interest in respect of an ITM, Bodies also reserve the right to proceed to consult with the capable Provider who submitted the sole expression of interest in writing, giving details of the requirements. The Contracting Body will set out the terms and conditions of the Call-off Contract and will request the sole capable Provider to submit a completed tender using the original Agreement terms.
