Interconnection Points and Methods. 3.2.1 In each LATA identified on Schedule 2.1, Requesting Carrier and Ameritech shall Interconnect their networks at the correspondingly identified Ameritech and Requesting Carrier Wire Centers on Schedule 2.1 for the transmission and routing within that LATA of Telephone Exchange Service traffic and Exchange Access traffic pursuant to Section 251(c)(2) of the Act. 3.2.2 Interconnection in each LATA shall be accomplished at any technically feasible point within the Parties' networks through either (i) Collocation in Ameritech's Wire Centers as provided in Article XII or (ii) any other Interconnection method to which the Parties may agree in advance of the applicable Interconnection Activation Date for a given LATA and which is consistent with the Act, including a Fiber-Meet as provided in Section 3.3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, as provided in Section 251(c)(2) of the Act, Requesting Carrier, at its option, may request Interconnection of its facilities and equipment to Ameritech's network at any technically feasible point in Ameritech's network including a mid-span meet arrangement at any transmission rate for a Telecommunications Service that Ameritech offers to itself, its subsidiaries, its Affiliates or other persons. 3.2.3 If Requesting Carrier elects Collocation as an Interconnection method or elects a network architecture that requires Ameritech to Interconnect with Requesting Carrier's facilities via Collocation, Requesting Carrier shall provide to Ameritech Collocation for purposes of that Interconnection on a nondiscriminatory basis and on rates, terms and conditions that are no less favorable than either (i) Ameritech provides to Requesting Carrier hereunder or (ii) Requesting Carrier provides to other similarly situated Telecommunications Carriers unless Requesting Carrier can demonstrate and the Commission agrees that (x) Requesting Carrier's costs to provide Collocation to Ameritech are greater than Ameritech's costs to provide Collocation to Requesting Carrier or (y) Requesting Carrier must make special arrangements to provide such Collocation to Ameritech in its Central Offices.

3.2.4 Based on the physical architecture and Reciprocal Compensation arrangements that the Parties agree to in this Agreement, each Party shall be responsible for establishing and maintaining certain physical facilities and logical trunking necessary for Interconnection. Each Party shall provide, at its own expense, the physical facilities and logical trunking necessary on its side of the common physical meet point with respect to each Interconnection which provides for the transmission, routing and termination of Telephone Exchange Service traffic and Exchange Access traffic to their respective Customers. Such facilities and logical trunking shall be provided on a basis consistent with the standards set forth in this Agreement. Requesting Carrier may purchase such facilities from Ameritech at the rates set forth at Item V of the Pricing Schedule. Any Interoffice Transmission Facilities purchased by Requesting Carrier from Ameritech to be utilized for such transmission shall be at the rates for Dedicated Interoffice Transmission Facilities.

(b) If Requesting Carrier does not elect to provide Ameritech transport as provided in subsection (a) above, then Requesting Carrier shall provide to Ameritech Collocation in Requesting Carrier’s Wire Center(s) for purposes of that Interconnection on a nondiscriminatory basis and on rates, terms and conditions that are no less favorable than either (i) Ameritech provides to Requesting Carrier hereunder or pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and, (ii) Requesting Carrier provides to other similarly situated Telecommunications Carriers unless Carriers. III.2.4 Within ten (10) Business Days of a Party's request of any Interconnection Point, the other Party shall provide any information in its possession or of which it is aware regarding the environmental conditions of the Interconnection Point, including the existence and condition of asbestos, lead paint, hazardous substance contamination or radon. The Parties acknowledge that a Party's obligation under this Section 3.2.4 shall only require such Party to review any existing internal records of such Party. Nothing in this Section 3.2.4 shall require a Party to investigate and/or monitor, contain, clean, remove, restore or perform any remedial work of any kind or nature with respect to any environmental condition in or on such Interconnection Point, other than as required by Applicable Law.

3.2.2 Interconnection in each the LATA shall be accomplished at any technically feasible point within the Parties' networks through either of Interconnection (an “Interconnection Point”) by any technically feasible means, including (i) a Fiber-Meet as provided in Section 3.3; (ii) Collocation in Ameritech's Wire Centers at any technically feasible Premise as provided in Article XII XII; or (iiiii) any other Interconnection method to which the Parties may agree in advance of the applicable Interconnection Activation Date for a the given LATA and which that is consistent with the Act, including For Interconnection methods other than a Fiber-Meet as Meet, Xxxxxxxx will have the right to designate the Interconnection Point(s) in the LATA. For Interconnection by Fiber-Meet, the Parties shall mutually agree on the Interconnection Point(s). There will be at least one Interconnection Point within the LATA; however, Xxxxxxxx may designate additional Interconnection Points in the LATA, subject to the terms and conditions of this Article III. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, an Interconnection Activation Date associated with an interconnection arrangement not previously provided in Section 3.3. Notwithstanding by CBT or requiring the foregoingdevelopment and deployment of new technical capabilities, as provided in Section 251(c)(2shall not be earlier than the date which is one hundred and twenty (120) of days after the Act, Requesting Carrier, at its option, may request Interconnection of its facilities and equipment date on which CBT receives notice from Xxxxxxxx that Xxxxxxxx wishes to Ameritech's network at any technically feasible point in Ameritech's network including a mid-span meet arrangement at any transmission rate for a Telecommunications Service that Ameritech offers to itself, its subsidiaries, its Affiliates or other personsestablish such Interconnect arrangements.
3.2.3 If Requesting Carrier Adelphia elects Collocation as an Interconnection method or elects a network architecture that requires Ameritech CBT to Interconnect with Requesting Carrier's Xxxxxxxx’s facilities via Collocation, Requesting Carrier shall Adelphia agrees to provide to Ameritech CBT Collocation for purposes of that Interconnection on a nondiscriminatory basis and on rates, terms and conditions to be negotiated by the Parties under a separate agreement that are no less favorable than either (i) Ameritech CBT provides to Requesting Carrier Adelphia hereunder or (ii) Requesting Carrier Xxxxxxxx provides to other similarly situated Telecommunications Carriers Carriers, unless Requesting Carrier Xxxxxxxx can demonstrate and the Commission agrees that (x) Requesting CarrierXxxxxxxx's cost to provide Collocation to CBT are greater than CBT's costs to provide Collocation to Ameritech Adelphia.
3.2.4 In regard to Frame Relay interconnection, the parties agree to establish trunk groups from interconnection facilities of subsection 3.2.2 of this section such that each party provides a reciprocal of each trunk group established by the other party. Notwithstanding the foregoing, each party may construct its network, including the interconnection facilities, to achieve optimum cost effectiveness and network efficiency. The parties agree that either no charges will be assessed or reciprocal charges will be assessed for network to network interfaces where the parties are greater than Ameritech's costs certified as providers of local exchange services. CBT treatment of Xxxxxxxx as to provide Collocation to Requesting Carrier or (y) Requesting Carrier must make special arrangements to provide such Collocation to Ameritech in its Central Officessaid charges shall be consistent with CBT treatment of other local exchange carriers for the same charges.

3.2.3 If Requesting Carrier Focal elects Collocation as an Interconnection method or elects a network architecture that requires Ameritech to Interconnect with Requesting CarrierFocal's facilities via Collocation, Requesting Carrier shall Focal agrees to provide to Ameritech Collocation for purposes of that Interconnection on a nondiscriminatory basis and on rates, terms and conditions to be negotiated by the Parties under a separate agreement that are no less favorable than either (i) Ameritech provides to Requesting Carrier hereunder or (ii) Requesting Carrier Focal provides to other similarly situated Telecommunications Carriers unless Requesting Carrier can demonstrate and the Commission agrees that (x) Requesting Carrier's costs to provide Collocation to Ameritech are greater than Ameritech's costs to provide Collocation to Requesting Carrier or (y) Requesting Carrier must make special arrangements to provide such Collocation to Ameritech in its Central OfficesCarriers.

Interconnection Points and Methods. 3.2.1 III.2.1 In each LATA identified on Schedule 2.1, Requesting Carrier Urban Media and Ameritech shall Interconnect their networks at the correspondingly identified Ameritech and Requesting Carrier Urban Media Wire Centers on Schedule 2.1 for the transmission and routing within that LATA of Telephone Exchange Service traffic and Exchange Access traffic pursuant to Section 251(c)(2) of the Act.
3.2.2 III.2.2 Interconnection in each LATA shall be accomplished at any technically feasible point within the Parties' networks through either (i) Collocation in Ameritech's Wire Centers as provided in Article XII or (ii) any other Interconnection method to which the Parties may agree in advance of the applicable Interconnection Activation Date for a given LATA and which is consistent with the Act, including a Fiber-Meet as provided in Section 3.3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, as provided in Section 251(c)(2) of the Act, Requesting CarrierUrban Media, at its option, may request Interconnection of its facilities and equipment to Ameritech's network at any technically feasible point in Ameritech's network including a mid-span meet arrangement at any transmission rate for a Telecommunications Service that Ameritech offers to itself, its subsidiaries, its Affiliates or other persons.
3.2.3 III.2.3 If Requesting Carrier Urban Media elects Collocation as an Interconnection method or elects a network architecture that requires Ameritech to Interconnect with Requesting Carrier's Urban Media’s facilities via Collocation, Requesting Carrier Urban Media shall provide to Ameritech Collocation for purposes of that Interconnection on a nondiscriminatory basis and on rates, terms and conditions that are no less favorable than either (i) Ameritech provides to Requesting Carrier Urban Media hereunder or (ii) Requesting Carrier Urban Media provides to other similarly situated Telecommunications Carriers unless Requesting Carrier Urban Media can demonstrate and the Commission agrees that (x) Requesting Carrier's Urban Media’s costs to provide Collocation to Ameritech are greater than Ameritech's costs to provide Collocation to Requesting Carrier Urban Media or (y) Requesting Carrier Urban Media must make special arrangements to provide such Collocation to Ameritech in its Central Offices.

3.2.3 (a) If Requesting Carrier elects Collocation as an Interconnection method or elects a network architecture that requires Ameritech to Interconnect with Requesting Carrier's facilities via Collocation, then (i) Requesting Carrier shall provide the transport (whether through leased or owned facilities) of Ameritech’s traffic from the point of Interconnection to Requesting Carrier’s Central Office, (ii) Requesting Carrier shall not charge Ameritech for such transport and (iii) Requesting Carrier shall provide Ameritech with capacity to meet Ameritech’s forecasted needs.
(b) If Requesting Carrier does not elect to provide Ameritech transport as provided in subsection (a) above, then Requesting Carrier shall provide to Ameritech Collocation in Requesting Carrier’s Central Office(s) for purposes of that Interconnection on a nondiscriminatory basis and on rates, terms and conditions that are no less favorable than either (i) Ameritech provides to Requesting Carrier hereunder or pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and, (ii) Requesting Carrier provides to other similarly situated Telecommunications Carriers unless Carriers. Further, if Requesting Carrier can demonstrate and does provide Ameritech transport as provided in subsection (a) above but then Requesting Carrier either requests Ameritech to utilize its own facilities or does not provide Ameritech capacity to meet Ameritech’s forecasted needs, then Requesting Carrier shall, prior to providing Ameritech Collocation as described in the Commission agrees that preceding sentence, (x) Requesting Carrier's costs provide Ameritech not less than one hundred fifty (150) days notice prior to the date Ameritech must provide Collocation to Ameritech are greater than Ameritech's costs to provide Collocation to Requesting Carrier or its own facilities and (y) Requesting Carrier must make special arrangements compensate Ameritech for the costs incurred by Ameritech to provide such Collocation to Ameritech in rearrange its Central Officesnetwork.
