INTERNAL CANDIDATE WHO MOVES TO ANOTHER CLASSIFICATION. A permanent employee who acquires probationary status as the result of a job opening/promotion, shall retain permanent status in his/her former position classification until completion of the probationary period in the new classification. If not successful, the employee shall revert to his/her former classification with all rights and privileges.
