Internal communication bus. The internal communication bus is shaped using broadcast intents internally in the Android application space. This process is performed through the Android Intents, which are broadcasted to the application space of the device. Every installed mobile app is able to listen to the broadcasted intent as long as they know the ACTION ID that is used to broadcast the message. The Polling Manager is registering to the ACTION ID that is defined in advantage and will be used by all TagItSmart authentication components including the Polling Manager itself. Once the mobile device is started the Polling Manager is registering to the ACTION ID. <action android:name="eu.tagitsmart.auth.pollingmanager" /> Then, each of the authentication components such as BehavAuth, location based authentication from University of Surrey and keystroke authentication from University of Padova, will publish their authentication results to the particular ACTION ID. Once this is performed the Polling manager will receive a BroadcastMessage that will contain the information required. The information will be forwarded to the voting mechanism and further the result will be propagated to the TagItSmart platform through the REST communication.
