Union Communications. (a) The Employer will provide a bulletin board for the exclusive use of the Union. The sites will be determined by mutual agreement. The use of the bulletin boards is restricted to the affairs of the Union.
(b) The parties may, at the local level, agree upon another method of notifying employees of union business.
(c) Employees who normally use the Employer's computers for work related business can occasionally access the union's websites and an electronic copy of the collective agreement during breaks if it does not unreasonably interfere with the Employer's business.
Union Communications. The City recognizes that CWA has a responsibility to communicate with bargaining unit members. To facilitate this purpose, it is agreed that CWA may make reasonable use of e- mail, telephone, inter-office mail and fax machines to communicate with individual members (no mass communications), so long as the use does not unduly interfere with City work. The City will continue to permit CWA to use bulletin board space in appropriate and accessible locations approved by the Appointing Authority and will consider requests for changes or additions to such locations where appropriate. The Union will limit the posting of Union notices to such bulletin boards. Appropriate items for communications under this section shall be:
(A) Notices of Union elections;
(B) Notices of Union meetings;
(C) Notices of Union appointments and results of elections;
(D) Notices of Union recreational and social affairs;
(E) Newsletters of the Union (newsletters may be distributed at a central location for different sections, from a CWA member at their work site);
(F) Matters of Agreement interpretation;
(G) Matters of Agreement enforcement; and
(H) Such other notices as may be approved by the Appointing Authority or the Director of Human Resources or designee. Items specifically prohibited from this process include those that are derogatory, inflammatory, or disrespectful of individuals or organizations. Items that are neither specifically permitted nor specifically prohibited may be submitted to the Appointing Authority or designee for prior approval. Citywide items or items not approved by the Appointing Authority may be submitted to the Director of Human Resources or designee for review. Problems arising under this Section shall be discussed between the Director of Human Resources or designee and the Union.
Union Communications. The Union, as exclusive representative, shall have the use of the school system’s interdepartmental mail and email facilities, the right of distribution of materials to teachers’ mailboxes in schools, and the use of bulletin board space, provided these rights do not interfere with the operation of the school system. Individuals and organizations other than the Union shall not be permitted to use the school system’s interdepartmental mail and email facilities, or the right of distribution of materials to teachers’ mailboxes. The Union shall have space on at least one existing bulletin board in each school. Said bulletin board space shall be located in the teachers’ lounge unless another site is mutually agreeable to both parties. The Board shall place a link to the Union’s website on the home page of the School System’s website.
Union Communications. The District authorizes the Union to use one bulletin board per building site, designated for union information, in an area not readily accessible to students. If such a site is not available, the building administrator and Union representative shall mutually agree upon an alternative location. The on-site Union representative will be responsible for maintaining the Union bulletin board. Union communications may also be placed in the employee pickup boxes, subject to Board and Administrative Policy.
Union Communications. Employees shall be allowed to make reasonable use of the Employer's electronic mail system for union communications outside the employee's working hours. Union stewards and executive members may utilize the e- mail system during working hours for incidental purposes restricted to the administration of their duties as stewards or executive members. Employees may use the e-mail system during working hours for the purpose of contacting a union xxxxxxx or executive member to request assistance. It is understood that the use of these company communication tools is intended to facilitate communications within the bargaining unit and is not meant to be used as a forum for personal attacks. All communications are to be with bargaining unit members or management only.
Union Communications. The University will provide the following of its facilities to assist the Union with communications and the conduct of its business.
(a) Duplicating services at cost.
(b) Rooms for meetings at cost subject to the same conditions as other on-campus organization users.
Union Communications. The Employer shall provide a binder or notebook in an area accessible to employees in each office for union postings. The Union will provide a copy of materials to the Employer in advance for notification purposes.
Union Communications. The Employer agrees to distribute Union information, to a maximum of twelve (12) sheets per year, received with adequate notice, to all employees in their work packages. The Employer agrees to provide bulletin board space at each Employer location for the use of the Union.
Union Communications. 3.6 No Strike, No Lockout.
Union Communications. On or following the date of this Agreement, CCE shall, and shall cause its Subsidiaries to, notify each union or similar organization representing CCE North American Employees of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement or the Separation and Merger Agreement as required by Laws or any existing collective bargaining Contract.
