Internal Revenue Service Section 125 Flexible Spending Plan. (a) Medical Plan Premium Conversion: The County will auto-enroll Employees who contribute toward their health insurance coverage to process the contribution on a pre-tax basis. Employees must submit a written request to the Risk Management Department within thirty (30) days of date of hire, a qualifying event or the open enrollment period(s) to opt out of the program to then process contributions as post-tax deductions pursuant to the Internal Revenue Service rules and regulations.
