Interpreters or Translators. Management may provide an interpreter or translator in an investigative or disciplinary meeting if the employee or the Union so requests, or if Management determines that doing so will be beneficial. If an employee or the Union requests an interpreter, such request must be made within two (2) business days of the meeting. If a timely request is not made by the employee or the Union, Management may decide to proceed with the meeting without an interpreter or translator.

  • Intercept and Referral Announcements 6.1 When a Customer changes its service provider from Verizon to CBB, or from CBB to Verizon, and does not retain its original telephone number, the Party formerly providing service to such Customer shall provide a referral announcement (“Referral Announcement”) on the abandoned telephone number which provides the Customer’s new number or other appropriate information, to the extent known to the Party formerly providing service. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a Party shall not be obligated under this Section to provide a Referral Announcement if the Customer owes the Party unpaid overdue amounts or the Customer requests that no Referral Announcement be provided.

  • Intercept Devices 26.1.1.1 Local and federal law enforcement agencies periodically request information or assistance from local telephone service providers. When either Party receives a request associated with an End User of the other Party, it shall refer such request to the Party that serves such End User, unless the request directs the receiving Party to attach a pen register, trap-and-trace or form of intercept on the Party's facilities, in which case that Party shall comply with any valid request.

  • Attorney Fees & Governing Law In the event an action, suit of proceeding, including appeals, is brought for failure to observe any of the terms of this Agreement, each party shall be responsible for that party's own attorney fees, expenses, costs and disbursements for the action, suit, proceeding or appeal. The provisions of this Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the provisions of the laws of the State of Oregon. Any claim, action, suit, or proceeding between City and Contractor arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be brought and conducted solely and exclusively within the Circuit Court of Deschutes County, Oregon, or, if the claim must be brought in a federal forum, the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. Contractor hereby consents to in personam jurisdiction of said courts.

  • Information and Technical Advice At the request of a Party, or upon its own initiative, the arbitration panel may obtain information from any source, including the Parties involved in the dispute, which it deems appropriate for the arbitration procedure. The arbitration panel also has the right to seek the opinion of experts as it deems appropriate. Any information obtained in this manner must be disclosed to each of the Parties and submitted for their comments. Interested parties are authorised to submit amicus curiae briefs to the arbitration panel in accordance with the rules of procedure.
