Common use of INTERRUPTION OF OPERATIONS Clause in Contracts

INTERRUPTION OF OPERATIONS. In the event operations cannot commence or continue when so recommended by civil authorities; or public utilities fail to supply electricity, water, or gas; or the interruption of work is caused by an Act of God, the foregoing guarantees shall be satisfied by Rite Aid when it makes a reasonable effort to offer hours in a store that is within the geographic limits listed in Section 5 Layoffs/Recalls/Hours Reductions. After the currently scheduled week, Section 5 Layoffs/Recalls/Hours Reductions will be followed.
