Common use of Intimation of Board Meeting Clause in Contracts

Intimation of Board Meeting. a) The company shall give prior intimation of the date and purpose of meetings of the Board or Committee in which the financial results will be considered under sub-clause (II)(a) or (II)(e), as the case may be, at least seven clear calendar days prior to the meeting (excluding the date of the intimation and date of the meeting). b) The company shall also simultaneously issue a public notice in at least in one English daily newspaper circulating in the whole or substantially the whole of India and in one daily newspaper published in the language of the region, where the registered office of the company is situated.
