Professional Meetings. Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.
Professional Meetings. To the extent consistent with the operational needs of the Employer, employees will be granted time off with pay, not to exceed their normal workday to attend pre-approved professional meetings that are job related.
Professional Meetings. With the permission of the CEO, leave without loss of pay shall be granted to employees in order to attend professional meetings.
Professional Meetings. The District Superintendent may attend appropriate professional meetings at the local, state and national levels, the expense of said attendance to be incurred by the BOCES. However, conferences held more than 300 miles from the District, or more than three (3) days in duration, shall be attended only after the Board has been notified of and approved same.
Professional Meetings. (a) An employee shall be granted, upon request, up to two (2) days per annum leave with pay to attend the Society of Vocational Instructors' Convention or upon consultation with his/her Xxxx up to two (2) days per annum leave with pay to attend the annual meetings of other registered professional associations.
(b) Faculty will be able to attend scheduled divisional and employee organization meetings. These meetings will normally be scheduled to commence at 3:00 p.m.

Professional Meetings. A. A teacher may request time without loss of leave or pay to attend workshops, conferences or meetings of his/her subject matter or grade level area. Request should be in writing and directed to the appropriate Director for approval with a copy of said request provided to the school administration when applicable.
B. At least one (1) classroom teacher shall be included whenever a group is attending a conference, workshop or special meeting that is related to their teaching assignment.
C. Notification of State Department workshops, conferences or meetings shall be posted in each school.
D. The Board recognizes the responsibility of providing in-service workshops for all new and required programs introduced into the curriculum.
Professional Meetings. The Superintendent shall be authorized to attend appropriate professional meetings at the local, state and national level, provided such attendance does not materially interfere with the proper performance of his duties under this Contract. The reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the Superintendent in connection with the attendance of such meeting shall, when approved in advance by the Board of Education, be paid by the District.
Professional Meetings. The Business Administrator/Board Secretary may attend appropriate local and state professional meetings with the approval of the Board. The expenses of approved attendance shall be paid by the District. The Business Administrator/Board Secretary shall be permitted to attend conferences to include state and national conferences annually with Superintendent and Board of Education approval. Approval by the Board shall be consistent with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:11-12 and applicable provisions of N.J.A.C. 6A:1-1 et seq.
Professional Meetings. The Superintendent may attend appropriate professional meetings at the local, state, and national level, the reasonable expenses of which shall be paid by the District, subject to prior consultation with and approval by the Board.
