INVESTIGATION & RIGHT TO PRE-DISCIPLINARY CONFERENCE. Before an employee is disciplined by suspension with or without pay or by dismissal, management shall conduct an investigation of the problem to determine the facts and the employee shall then be given the opportunity for a pre-disciplinary conference. At the pre-disciplinary conference, the employee shall be advised of the results of the investigation, the proposed disciplinary action, and be given an opportunity to respond verbally to the results of the investigation and the proposed disciplinary action. The employee may have a representative in attendance at this meeting.
