January 2nd. The Company and the Union support that employees may volunteer to work the Christmas and New Year’s shutdowns. When an employee works a 12 hour shift during the above shutdowns, they shall receive 12 hours pay at their regular rate and in addition, shall be paid one and one half times their hourly rate for all hours worked in accordance with Article 13.15 (12 Hour Shift Schedule).
