Hour Shift Schedule. In accordance with Section 8.3 of the Agreement between the Hospital and the Association, nurses may, on an individual basis, agree to work a twelve (12) hour shift schedule with the consent of the Employer. All existing contractual provisions shall apply unless otherwise provided for herein.
Hour Shift Schedule. 1. Pilot Project Duration: One year commencing on January 1, 2003. Failing agreement after the one year period to implement service-wide, members revert to schedule in effect prior to pilot project. If the Board does so, then a mailed, secret ballot vote of members in the pilot divisions/units is to be completed by the end of June, 2003. A simple majority of members (fifty percent plus one) will carry the vote, resulting in Service-wide implementation to divisions/units on a temporary basis. Where a majority of the members vote to discontinue the new shift schedule, on such date as agreed to by the Board and the Association, they will revert to those shift schedules in effect prior to the pilot project. Subject to above, Service-wide implementation will commence on January 1, 2004, provided that the Board also agrees. A mailed, secret ballot vote of all members on the new shift schedule will be completed by the end of June, 2004. A simple majority of members (fifty percent plus one) will carry the vote, resulting in permanent Service-wide implementation to divisions/units. Hour Shift Schedule. Employees who work Saturday as part of their regular scheduled work week will be paid a premium of seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) per hour for all hours worked on Saturday Shifts. Employees who work Sunday as part of their regular scheduled work week will be paid a premium of one (1) times their regular straight time rate and one (1) times their 10.5 hour blended rate per hour for all hours worked on Sunday Shifts.

Hour Shift Schedule. Employees in the Sheriff’s Department may be assigned a work schedule consisting of 3 12-hour shifts on, 3 days off, 3 12-hour shifts on, 1 8 hour shift on and 4 days off. Board approval is required. The County has the right to cancel the 12-hour shift schedule at any time, without reasons, provided employees are given at least 2 pay periods notice of the change.

Hour Shift Schedule. ⮚ When a general holiday falls on an employee’s scheduled day off, the employee shall be paid 8 hours at his hourly rate for the holiday. ⮚ When a general holiday falls on an employee’s scheduled workday and the employee does not work, the employee shall be paid 12 hours at his hourly rate. ⮚ When the employee works a general holiday, he shall receive 12 hours pay at his regular rate, and in addition, shall be paid one and one-half times his hourly rate for all hours worked in accordance with his regular work schedule.
