Common use of JOB DEFINITIONS Clause in Contracts

JOB DEFINITIONS. The job definitions included herein are intended to be general guidelines regarding the duties to be performed by an employee holding a particular classification and are not to be construed as restrictions on the duties an employee may perform. Any employee may be assigned to perform the duties of a classification which has an equal or lower wage rate, and any employee may be assigned to perform other duties which are related to those defined in the employee's particular job classification. Compensation, when assigned to perform duties of an equal, lower, or higher wage rate, shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding.
