Handyperson. Possesses a certain amount of mechanical or technical skill and devotes more than fifty (50) percent of working time in a building to work involving such skill.
Handyperson. Trade Means a person employed as a handyperson who has satisfactorily qualified as a tradesperson under the Industrial Training Act 1975 or holds an equivalent qualification acceptable to the Healthscope. Hospital Attendant Means an Employee appointed as such and who, as part of their ordinary duties, is required to perform a patrol function.
Handyperson. CLASSIFICATION
Handyperson. An employee who is regularly engaged during half of his time or more in maintaining and making general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems and appliances, heating systems and appliances, elevators, ventilation systems, and window and building structures of premises where he is employed shall be classified as a Handyperson. The duties of a Handyperson shall consist of minor woodwork, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs and installations and other similar duties, together with other assignments at the employer's discretion. The employer shall furnish and bear the cost of upkeep of all tools and equipment used by the Handyperson. No handyperson shall be required to furnish his own tools as a condition of employment. The cost to replace tools lost by an employee shall be borne by the employee so long as the employer provides the employee with a secured locker or storage which only he/she has access to. It is understood that a handyperson will not be required to perform functions in conflict with the recognized field of work of any other union, and that the employment of a handyperson shall not preclude the employer from engaging the services of contractors to perform any of the above work where the skill of the handyperson is lacking or time is of the essence.

Fork-lift Driver Fork-lift driver means an employee who has a recognised fork-lift licence and who is engaged solely on the basis of driving a fork-lift vehicle.

Handyperson. Someone who shall perform specific semi-skilled tasks under the direction of a CEP Journeyman such as: shipping, receiving, parts pickup, steam clean, sand blast, burning, stripping, dipping, baking, cleaning parts, crating, painting, disassemble, or cutting insulation. RATIO The ratio of Apprentices to Journeymen in the Prince Xxxxxx Plant will not exceed one (1) Apprentice – two (2) Journeymen, subject to the availability of qualified Journeymen. Ratio of Handypersons to Journeymen, in the plant will not exceed one (1) Handyperson to three (3) Journeymen and Apprentices. MACHINIST A person who performs machining and related mechanical work. FIELD SERVICE REP. Performs electrical technical functions such as testing or programming electrical apparatus. Must have certificate showing technical training. JOURNEYMAN MILLWRIGHT Performs mechanical work pertaining to AC Motors, HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC pumps, gearboxes and magnetorques, etc. Performs work pertaining to fabrication and welding. May perform field service work involving mechanical repairs, removal, and installation of equipment. May perform work involving friction and anti-friction bearings, and cleaning of motors and equipment. May perform work on DC equipment with a journeyman motor winder. Must not perform electrical testing with the exception of megger testing. Cannot perform work on windings of any kind. All classifications will be assigned in accordance with the work requirements of the Employer.
