Job Postings and New Classifications. a. Prior to external position recruitment advertising for bargaining unit position vacancies, all bargaining unit positions and new classifications will be posted a minimum of five business days for all positions. For employees who are on scheduled leave (vacation/personal leave or sick leave) the City will place one telephone call to the identified contact number provided by the employee in the employee’s personnel file giving notice of such advertisement.
