Common use of Joint Assistance Clause in Contracts

Joint Assistance. At any stage of the Grievance Procedure or arbitration, the parties may have the assistance of the employee(s) concerned as witnesses and any other witnesses, or representatives of the Canadian Union of Public Employees, and all reasonable arrangements will be made to permit the conferring parties to have access to any part of the Employer's premises to view any working conditions which may be relevant to the settlement of the grievance.
