JOINT EMPLOYMENT SECURITY COMMITTEE. The function of the Joint Employment Security Committee is to resolve disputes regarding the appropriate application of this Appendix. The committee will consist of six regular members, three representing the Union and three representing the Company. Two additional members from each party may be added from a work unit affected by the surplus situation under consideration. Meetings may be called by either party. In all disputes referred to the committee for settlement, the committee’s decision will be final and binding on both parties.
